It's a good ball for small kid's practice. We have size 3. Although it's rubber - it has a nice weight and is doing it's job for a 5-year old.

I bought this for 2 reasons - it was the best price I could get with Prime Shipping and it was a name brand. It's very rubbery and hard but works just fine.
