Nice. We've been using an Ikea Soccer ball pillow to practice. This is a nice transition up from that. I just wish they had a slightly bigger ball (10" would have been nice). In any case, my son loves playing with it, and though heavier than the pillow, I don't worry about the large screen lcd on the wall getting hit by it.

Received this 8" soccer ball - except it was maybe 7" in diameter. It has the number 3 on the side, so it has no business being advertised as 8 inches.
It is soft as a pillow with a leatherette cover - basically useless for soccer play of any type. If you want a decorative (small) soccer pillow, this is it. If you want to practice foot skills, forget about it.

OK, I am updating my review:
After beating on it for a few months, it is now torn and coming apart. That's fair, we put a lot of miles on it. Now, my original review was for the intended purpose of actually learning foot skills indoors. This ball/pillow doesn't cut it - way too mushy. But, it makes a great kicking ball for playing around and for goalie type training (indoors). It may knock your pictures off the walls, but it won't break them by a direct hit : So I have changed my 1 to a 4. Just be sure for which purpose you are buying this ball...Read more
