My low rating was not about quality. The ball was not sized as advertized. The quality was not bad.
I got this ball and pumped it up. I wanted and ordered a size 5 ball. It has a size 5 logo on it, but I thought it looked too small. When I measured the fully pumped ball, it was 66cm in circumference. The FIFA standard for a size five is not larger than 70cm in circumference and not less than 68cm. So the ball is 2 cm in circumference smaller than a regulation size 5. For those who care, this is a big difference, for those who are not so sure it matters, this makes the ball actually a size 4, which is ok for children not yet in their teens, although most kids over 11 probably play with a size 5.
I am returning the ball and hope to do better with another one.Brine Trident Soccer Ball

I usedto play soccer for years and loved Brine balls. Particularly, the Trident. These balls used to be handstitched way back in the day. Apparently, they're no longer made quite the same. However, I can't really tell the difference. I think it's still a quality ball and one of the most classic and aesthetically pleasing balls on the market.
